chill out - the tag refers to how many postings you have made.

Once you have made more postings your rating will increase.

You can't do it by growing older but you can by regular participation on the forum.

              Re: what a junior member!!!

I have a few posts up now and I have changed from Junior but I have a long way to go to get the most out of this forum.

There is a wealth of knowledge here, I suggest that you first use the search function and read some of the "stickies" to get an idea of what is available and where you want to go.

After you have a few concepts in your head specific questions tend to draw the best responses.

eg I originally joined looking at biodiesel but have now moved onto straight oil blending and straight oil with heating and 2 tank systems.

At your location the first thing to think about is whether you can get an adequate supply of the base product - normally some kind of vegetable oil.

              Good luck

              Geoff

                Re: what a junior member!!!

Hi Proff,If you are serious about biodiesel and want to make it i suggest that when you go looking for a supply of oil, stay away from the big users of oil because someone else has that outlet already tied up.I found from experience that the little cafe or hotel that does a few counter lunches can have a tidy amount each week. Also when you get a supply be regular in picking it up. My other suggestion is that you go to the members list for Murphy 2000 and look up one of his posts on collecting oil it is very informative. regards westwinds
