hi guys (and gals),
Firstly:
For those of you living or working in the Northern Beaches area of Sydney and keen to meet up do you have a preference for a venue?
Would you prefer someone's house or a park or would you prefer me to book a community centre like this one:
Narrabeen
(check out the VR tour with views of the lake)
or parks/cafes like this one:
The Flying Fox Cafe | Northern Beaches | Home
(very nice - we go there often because it has a great enclosed playground for kids)
or a pub like the Newport Arms?
Gallery :: Newport Arms Hotel
I am seriously open to suggestions!
Secondly:
What kind of activities would you like to if/when we meet up on such a local scale? Would you:
* just want to meet some kindred spirits;
* get some ideas;
* any excuse for a BBQ or a picnic;
* loook over and discuss the mechanicals of a particular vehicle or two (eg the diesel vehicle equivalent of a book club);
* learn how to make a benchtop batch of bio etc etc?
* find out more about the potential impacts of changes to legislation etc?
Over to you guys...
Cheers,
Cameron
