Jatoil's first shareholder newsletter indicates they are making progress with their plans to become a major jatropha oil producer. They've bought a controlling interest in an Indonesian company who is already planting jatropha, are setting up a joint venture in Vietnam and the price of crude jatropha oil is looking positive.

Interesting article.
After a few years in the Jatropha game though, Im somewhat jaded, and find articles like this difficult to believe. I only accept things such as claims of agri-stations when I see them with my own eyes. Theres so much talk in this space, but little action.

The picture used in that article.. it must be over a year and a half old. That picture was taken on a block of land opposite a friend of mines house/business in Vietnam. I was there a year ago and the plants were about a metre tall and had grown their roots through the bag.
