What is the inverter for? are the elements 240v, because i can supply 12/24 volt ones for around $180 each. The scary thing is that a 240v element is dangerous ( in a car ) and use alot of power due to the inverter losses.

But it all looks very good, well done boys

P.S do you use a lift pump and what sort and cost?

hi guys,
the inverter is only for running kangos and drills or lights on job sites were there is no power,the inverter runs off the two batteries in the tool box and gets charged through the trucks alternator, i have installed a special solenoid wich doesn't draw from the start batteries.
The pumps on the truck are a v.d.o diff oil pump [$380] wich works very well, i have removed the factory dead head out of the powerstroke, this engine is the perfect candidate for w.v.o the injector pump doesn't have fuel in it, instead it picks up the sump oil and compresses it to 3000psi this is pumped into an oil gallery in the heads wich feeds into the injector, fuel is also pumped in at 65psi into another gallery. the solenoid on the top of the injector is 110volt when this is energised the ratio is 7:1 giving 21000psi at the nozzle.
The powerstroke has factory air heaters and fuel heaters as well making it one of the best engines to convert if you have lots of time and money.

conversion completed the truck runs better with the dead head removed iam getting the veggie to 110 celcius.
