      And Yet Another Newbie

      Hi,

      My name is George and I live in Arizona.

      <side note>
      Does this feel like an AA meeting to anyone else?

      "Hi, my name is George and I use Veggie Oil."
      </side note>

      Actually, I'm trying to become a WVO user. But I need a car. I started looking for old MB diesels and now I'm looking more for newish VWs. I'm looking for a good car for commuting that can be converted to run on WVO. I'll still consider a good Benz if one comes along...

      So, right now I'm trying to absorb and learn.

      My other addiction... uh... hobbie is BMW Motorcycles..

      "Hi, my name is George and I ride an Airhead."

      Cheers, George

        Re: And Yet Another Newbie

        Check out all of the diesels in your area from the '70s to the 90's and determine which are indirect injection. The car and engine must be good to start with as you don't want to drive around in a POS car, do you.
        Pick the one whioch you like and Google the car, engine type, model and WVO into Google to see who is using that car on WVO. This will raise many websites where people are discussing WVO use. Post details of the car you wish to run on WVO for discussion and seek advice on its suitability. they have already posted about that vehicle so do some reading of that site first so your questions are educated and relevant.

        Please keep us informed of the choices and feedback from the sited visited and your progress in the conversion of your final choice of vehicle..

        Regards,
        Tony
