Can anyone tell me how long posts are moderated for? I understand the need for moderation of new posters for spam filtering but it seems that any time I post with a link in the post, the post awaits moderation. When I post in a discussion I prefer to include links to research papers which support my understanding of the subject, but it seems that this habit may be placing an undue load on the moderators.

Hi, Robert once explained when and why new posters would get moderated. It was for short period of time until they got enough posts under their belt to be trusted by the software. It had to do with the inclusion of key words and the use of links.Joe Morgan

I use the same software for my forum but since I am the administrator, I have not been on this end of it.
