  • The Processor from hell

    Just thought i'd share.

Couple of months in the making and still refining it.

Here's a few pics ---> The Processor from hell pictures by 1600_Vulcan - Photobucket

Cooked 5000kms with 500lts @ 10lts at a time and my hot plate has burnt out so the processor needs to start working.

Still need some work on the filtering pipe work as I started off with the black polly pipe from bunnings and it's starting to weep, but the rest seems to be working fine. All the steel fittings were proudly brought to you by Tony Powell.

Ran out of washed bio so been suplimenting it with straight vegie oil which has been working great except for the issue of the cats and dogs following me up the street.

Thanks for all the help guys.

      Re: The Processor from hell

Was a little stressed when I added the methoxide today due to not having an good idea of the temperature and a little venting from the breather, but all good. Just processed my first 80 lt batch.

Feel free to pm me and organise to have a look. All only ideas that I stole from the Internet and the good people from the Bio community.

      Cheers

Many thanks to Peda for all his help and the latest innovation.

A temperature probe fitted in line for accurate real time reading of the temp and this guage has an alarm when you set it to a temp. Not totally idiot proof but easier than taking a sample into a jar.

Still things to do but I'm cookin with oil.

Well done I love the colours, in regards the pvc hose just watch it, it will weep bio, go hard and opaque. Be prepared to hose clamp it down in case it slips off befoer going so hard you cannot fit it back on. Good with oil but will harden none the less.

            Enjoy the feeling.
            Well done.

that pump that you show on ebay. I found one at a website called diytools here is australia. I haven't got it out of the box yet but they delivered it really fast. so hoping it works well. I have picked up a 44gal drum and await a cone from the states from utah bio.

                    regards
