Re: Wanted: Centrifuge Filter
I know, it always amazes me that people want top money and can't even be bothered to clean things up. Are you coming anywhere near York on your travels?

Re: Wanted: Centrifuge Filter
Cheers Ben. It wasn't meant to be a serious option for you as it is in the UK, but just to give you an idea.
For fuging oil the motor driven ones are a much better proposition. I only know one person who has 2 of them (based on raw power types) He built them with some bits and pieces he obtained from raw power.
He doesn't heat his oil and runs the fuges unattended all night with the oil feed at minimum (something like 2 litres per hour.
I centrifuge my bio with a pressure driven fuge, running it at 100psi It seems to work well, removing contaminants down to (probably) 0.1 microns. Although after water washing, drying and magnesol treating then leaving 4 days to settle there isn't much to remove.Last edited by smithy; 2 August 2018, 11:43 PM.

Wanted: Centrifuge Filter
Hi Everybody, I am trying to locate a second hand centrifuge filter. I have been looking at at the Raw Power Centrifuge Filter 6000rpm with cone and heater. If anybody knows of anybody selling a centrifuge filter could you contact me on 0430 084 932. Would be great also to hear your thoughts about the pros and cons of centrifuge filters.
