Corporal Canada,
I just add 20 Litres of filtered used cooking oil to my fuel tank, add 10 L of diesel, kerosene or any other volatile fuel to the tank and drive. I have had no issues with poor mixing of the fuel. I have been using used cooking oil fuel for 24 years.
Initially, I had a 2 tank system which I started on diesel, when when the engine was warm, I changed to my coolant heated fuel lines and cooking oil tank (I was using LARD (solid animal fats) and I drove on this fuel as long as needed, but 5 minutes before shutting down, I switched back to the diesel tank.
I only failed to switch back to diesel once. It tool a lot of time with a hair dryer heating the fuel system between the fuel selection valve and the injection pump, before I was able to start the engine again.
I then found a source of liquid cooking oil (canola oil) and did not need to heat the fuel tank and lines, so changeover to oil was much more rapid.

Have you collected any WVO yet?
Is it dirty and full of junk or is it fairly clear and clean.
You might be able to use it right away or you might need to leave it sit for a while until it clears.
If you are going to dry the oil by sitting you let it sit until it is clear.
You be the judge. If the WVO is transparent I consider it ready to use.
There is only I filter. The 1 micron filter is called either a sock filter or a bag filter as shown in my above post.
Because it is so warm you might not have problems just running the WVO through the filter. Give it a try.
You leave the oil sit until it is clear or heat it up to dry it until it is clear. You will have to find out how to clear it.
Only use the oil that is clear. Do not pour any garbage into your filter, it will plug immediately.
Once your mixed WVO and diesel is transparent which it should be after filtering the WVO, it is ready to use.

okay, sorry gonna repeat myself here, sorry im just thorough, mix dirty wvo with station diesel.. pour THAT mixture through a sock and a 1 micron filter.. and to dewater it ?? let it sit for 7 days ? and only pour the clear fluid portion ???? or do i just dump it in the fuel tank right away ???
and since my deployment to this great country , ive never seen it dip below 30C... mind you, ive never had the courage to put 1 toe in the land down under

If the WVO is clear when you mix it with Diesel, provided the WVO is filtered and the mixture is still bright and clear, it is good to use as soon as it has been mixed and filtered.
I mix the WVO and biodiesel first just before filtering. Either way works. It is just that when it is a bit cold, it takes a long time for WVO to run through a 1 micron sock/ bag filter. It runs much faster when mixed with biodiesel and I do need to filter my biodiesel too.

okay, well since my mixture will be 10L of filtered wvo and 10L of station bought diesel, am i missing something ???
and you are telling me NOT to let it settle, im getting mixed messages here dude

there are three ways to de-water that I am aware of.
1- heat. you do not necessarily need to boil. I have never used this method
2- Bubble air through it. I have never used this method.
3- allow the WVO to settle over time and do not use oil from the very bottom of the container. This is the method I use.
The "thinner" you have said you plan to use is Diesel. I thin my WVO with biodiesel.

okay, i wil look for 1 micron, umm, i dont know how to DEwater the wvo without boiling it, and i believe i explained that the country im in uses LPG for the majority of cooking, so unless you know a way that i can boil the wvo by using solar panels or a solar cooker or another way to DEwater it, im listening, or reading or you can tell me what thinner to use

A 400 mesh filter is about 37 micron. I filter to 1 micron.
I mix the WVO and thinner first. That makes the liquid less viscous and it runs through the filter quicker than straight WVO.
Once the de-watered WVO is mixed with diesel and filtered it is ready to use.

oh, i was under the impression that i needed to settle it for a few weeks as for 1 micron, i havw a small 400 mesh filter, in addition, my favourite sock..

Just a quick addition.
Provided the WVO has been filtered and is sparkling clear when you mix it with diesel (No water present), as soon as the WVO and diesel are mixed it is good to use. No 2 week waiting required, and you can use the whole amount at once. It should already be filtered to 1 micron.

Everything you say is correct with the proviso that the WVO is sparkling clear when you use it. If the WVO is cloudy you should check for water as described in my above post. If water is present you need to de-water the WVO before using.
