    Collective grey.

i think it has come to pass that we should organise another BBQ for the forum members. it has been atleast 12 months since the first one which was held over at Ramsgate.

this would be a great opportunity for some of the older memebers to catch up and for some of the newer members to meet and greet and swap ideas and see first hand how we do things veg style.

i am open for all suggestions and calls for dates.

we have a lot of people on the forum over a vast area, so we should try to mate it as central for all to attend.

    what do you all reckon?????????

I reckon Alice Springs would be central to most points on the google map in the other thread.

Central Sydney is pretty impractical - Sydney central west - say Parramatta would be better. I would prefer further north. Hornsby or Berowra or even further North??
          Any other ideas?
Any suggestions for a date? I would prefer a Sunday.

                Hi mdraicch,

                sounds good to me.

Somewhere central could be worked out hobi.
If it's held too far north and on a Sunday most SA, Melb members will be exluded due to travel time alone.

I think mid NSW would be fair for the majority? West Wyalong area?

                    Hi All

                    Sounds great H1K

I'm really keen for another BBQ

Somewhere near major roads away from heavy traffic and with plenty of parking for show and tell sounds good to me.

My preference is for somewhere north, perhaps off the F3 (opposite side of Sydney to you H1K ).

Let's throw up a date to toss around.
How about Sunday 18th October - or if that's too soon how about Sunday 15th November?

                        Guys,

i was thinking mid November, this way it gives everyone a chance to book it in to their calender of events, just like any other date.

                        so here it is.

the second Sunday of November, at Wisemans Ferry.

                        Wisemans Ferry Park

                        see the link.

this way everyone has to travel, yes some more than others, but what can i do?
we are as far away as any other club members i have ever been with and we all had to make sacrifices in travel times.

maybe our next one can be organised by some one else and it is less travel time for them????]

                        BUT there it is.

besides, the only thing it will cost is a tank of FREE veg....

                        SO?

                          Re: another forum BBQ

                          Great venue.
                          1st Nov = 1st Sunday
                          8th Nov = 2nd Sunday
                          15th Nov = 3rd sunday = mid November.
Did you mean 8th or 15th?
                          I can't do 8th.
