Hello everybody well we have made it to Port Augusta. Firstly I must apologise to Tim for not hanging around for the Meeting but it was just such a long time to spend in Perth waiting and also thanks to Tim and Tony for your help with supplies . We have had a few filter changes since leaving Perth because I got slack with my filtering system and was pouring oil into tank with a strainer in the funnel but have returned back to good old woollies bags had to change z9 filters twice across the Nullarbor which I don't normally do .Well it went from one extreme to another on the crossing 43 degrees one day 19 the next I broke a spring on the trailer and made some repairs at Mundrabilla roadhouse it wasn't easy as parts don't exist so had to improvise when I get home will purchase two new springs but will get some extra leaves to carry the weight
We are cutting the trip a bit short due to some family matters but will be back on the road again shortly and will do the bottom half of oz and Perth next time
    Regards limoman

Hi Johnnojack the trailer is a fuel tank come tool box ect it has a purpose built tank the full length of the trailer with some where between 650 litres & 700litres of svo 2x freezers 2x 120ah batteries, tools, generator, washing machine on the front is a 125 yamaha scooter, 250 watt solar house panel and a 80 watt portable panel its a home away from home . Now I have found it very hard to get oil since I left Exmouth the oil pick up guys are very efficient I even rang one called Fataway to see if I could purchase some oil what a shock 83c a litre + gst and I needed a certificate in safe work practices I just had to have a laugh hoping to pick up some oil in Perth and meet some Members regards Kevin

Hi all well its been a little while since my last report I am now in Shark Bay have had great weather left Derby after filling up and continued down to Broome stayed at the PCYC and had one free night at the southern end of Cable Beach we then moved on to Barn Hill we stayed a week then onto Cape Keraudern for a bit of fishing and relaxing then moved onto Port Headland then onto Karajini National Park Great georges and swimming holes on our way to Karajini I picked up good clean oil at Auski Roadhouse he had 2 thousand litres of good settled oil so I pumped off the top. After Karajini we moved on to Exmouth and stayed at the Osprey camp in the Cape Range National Park for a couple of weeks, I forgot to mention that the wheel I had fixed in Derby the rim spit apart and destroyed the tyre completely outside Karajini National Park so we called into the Exmouth tip where I picked up a very good rim and tyre for free .I found the oil a bit hard to get but managed to get 80 litres there is a very busy bio diesel industry there. We then moved on to Coral bay went swimming and snorkelling then to Carnarvon picked up supplies stayed at free camp between Carnarvon Denham the WA government is doing a great job on there free camps oil here is also very hard to find Tim I will be at the WRFA meeting in October the bus is going great with no problems and I even have a suntan well that's all for now

Hi there everybody well I am now in Derby the weather is still good I have had a great tail wind all the way from Katherine I have been taking my time free camping all the way went on a trip down Geikie Gorge at Fitzroy Crossing stayed in some great free camps they are really good and getting better they usually have good toilets and dump points they have been sealing the camping surfaces with small gravel so you don't get much dust problems. Well I called in to the jetty today meet Kevin the owner and arranged to collect oil Friday he only had about 220 litres available so went around town and found that there is plenty available so will be able to fill up completely before we leave. The bus is still going strong on svo still haven't changed any filters yet but when I get into colder weather that will change, I did a wheel allignment at a free camp I noticed it was scrubbing a little I also noticed on my trailer that the left hand tyre had a leak I spray it with soapy water but couldn't find where is was so pumped it up and when I arrived in Derby had it checked out it turns out that the rim has a hair line crack in it about 75mm from the valve and about 5mm long so I put a tube in it I have never had that happen in all my years of motoring well that's all for now if you know of any good spots to stay at on the west coast south of Derby could you let me know please thanks Kevin limoman
