  • Forum Migration 2023

    Hi All,

The web host keeping this forum is closing down. Costs are rising and I'm only losing more (ad revenue on this site hasn't covered the costs for some time).
I've just bought a package with a new host and I will be moving it in the next day or so. There may be some downtime, but it will come back. I'll see how it goes from there.
    Robert.

Move has happened, but still seem to have some database errors to chase down.

Working on the errors post move. May have fixed some. This is a test post.

      Seems to work!

Can anyone/everyone please see if things are working for you? I don't often post (I just pay the bills ) and I didn't even know there were problems, but digging back through the logs, seems that there were problems for around a month before I migrated the site yesterday.
I hope that these are now resolved, but I'd appreciate any info from anyone else to confirm or deny this.
I need to do another software upgrade in a while so I want to make sure that everything is properly settled first.
        Robert.

Robert, I just tried the Calendar function, but was unable to add an event (10/9/23 WARFA BBQ and meeting)

Basic functions seem to be working fine. Consider chucking a "donate" button somewhere, I'm sure at least a few users would chuck in for hosting costs.

Sorry all, I don't drop in here too much these days, but I noticed that the SSL certificate for the site had expired and there were warning messages about this. The new host should have auto-renewed this, but didn't and I have now resolved this issue with them. Apologies for disruption caused.
Tony, sorry I didn't see you message about the Calendar function earlier, I will try to look at this next.

Just migrated to a new server, some may have noticed some downtime, but it should be working OK now.
