Posting photos?

I have searched the faq's and forums but I can't find where it tells a Neanderthal like me how to post or attach photos. I see the icon, click on it and then it asks me to enter the URL of my image. So the dumb question I have is; how do I assign a URL to the photo I want to post and what then?

Sorry guys but I am semi computer literate only. What is a URL anyway? Useless Restrictive Language?

At the bottom in the "additional options" section, press the manage attachments button.
