  • Solenoid valve wanted.

It seems the LPG valves I have used successfully for the last 15 years can’t take the pressure from a Mercedes fuel pump. This seems strange considering the gas pressure they handle, I think it’s the friction of cold oil on the piston. I had fuel starvation problems until I removed the valve and replaced it with a tap.
Does anyone have a link to a reliable one way valve? Prefer brass or stainless steel not plastic. I’m getting sick of stopping and opening the bonnet but it’s better than the regular breakdowns.

I haven't tried one of these, but for the price you'd hope it's reliable:

The price is right and it should do fine for your application.

Some details of this valve may indicate it is not suitable , however.
Flow aperture = 2.5 ( mm presumably ) maybe not big enough , esp. oil
Seal material NBR ( nitrile butyl rubber ) or Viton - NBR no good for Biodiesel , Viton perfect , so is it poss to specify ????
