My regular cafe is now turning out more than I can use so I have a regular small supply of good clean WVO in Blue Mountains / Western Sydney.
PM me if interested.

Finally finished just as winter is behind us.
First of all, the back of the small windshield so you can see the shape, etc.

Here is the silicone wrap heater around the filter. It has a...
Thanks Tony, Where is the lift pump on these things?
Also, does anyone now of an ignition switched positive feed under the bonnet? Don't need any amps as it is just to trip a relay.
Thanks everyone for the ideas.
This is the first stage. A wind deflector installed around the front of the fuel filter. I made it from some of that bracket material they sell at Bunnings (grown...
I spent a bit of time yesterday planning where it would go. Given the way the fuel hoses travel on open space next to the engine, probably a fixture on the firewall would be needed to safely carry...
That makes a lot more sense now. Off to Bunnings. Thanks Tony.
I did also see these. They have good internal surface area but too big for a vehicle.

Thanks Tony, I still can't picture what you are meaning. I know there are simple pipe heat exchangers you can buy but they are too large (1"). Maybe a 12 plate heat exchanger would do the job?
Thanks Tony,
Do you have a picture of one?
I am thinking of putting a heater around my Musso's fuel filter.
Has anyone already done this or could suggest a simple method? Should I go 12V heater pad or something t'eed off the heater hose?
Yes, they reckon their tests have not found a problem with B30 and they will probably say the same with B50.
Assuming they are right, I guess it is up to manufacturers to update their owners...
I guess they want to go with what they have on hand. Makes sense but B50 is a huge step. They might have to develop/import special local market engines. Might be the rebirth if IDI!
i know they closed my original news thread down 12 years ago but I thought I would pass on the following:

Plus you get those great cliplock lid tins too.
The bubbling is done at the same time as warming and simply speeds the drying along.
I never needed much heat when bubbling at the same time. Only about 30 degrees or so.
I am no expert or...
Forgive my ignorance here but why are you reluctant to bubble dry when you are still talking about leaving power on for the other methods?
You just need gentle air bubbling and a little bit of...
Yeah I know. You don't really need a drink holder. It rests OK on the dash.:)
That's the non turbo auto.
The non turbo manual is also rated at 19.7 seconds on the same website.
Tony, I am guessing from your other threads that the Courier is not really suitable as a blending vehicle but rather as a 2 tank system?
I hope it is just a thing with the old IP Tony and that the new IP will fix it. 70% seems a bit on the thinner side and of course means more misfuel to be collected and filtered.
Strange that the...
Great news that you have a solution to go back to each time to get back to 100% power.
With your experience Tony, I'm sure you can now refine the process to find the sweet spot.
Just saying that because I had that n January with my other (petrol) car. It used to go fine for a few km then slow to a stop. Restart engine and everything went well for another couple of km and...
Does the tank have a gauze over its internal pickup?
Hi Tony,
Why not try draining the blend out and going back to diesel or bio until you can isolate the exact issue?
