Hi Jim, welcome to the world of grease and oil spills ;)
I am also not familiar with this method and have never heard of it either, I water wash my bio after the reaction and let it settle out....
You will also have to keep in mind that you are pumping oil, not diesel, 5m head for diesel most likely means even more for oil. From memory, with water, per meter of head you gain 1 bar.
I am not...
No a dumb question at all, I asked the same a while back.
The pressurised nozzle has a small tube in it, apparently when the fuel gets to it, it clicks off. The gravity fed ones don't have that....
I am taking my hat off  10 years without a bowser, respect!:)
your idea sounds good in theory, unfortunately there is no nozzle that clicks off automatically that uses gravity flow.

Sure thing, just give me some notice. Looking forward to catching up,
In case you're just after some fuel to get you home, call in at my place if you don't mind the detour via Nimbin. Cheers Jens

Hi Bruce, looking at stepping up in the world:-) hope you're not trading the 80's for a Jetta? :-)
I looked into the VW thing a while back and I think the golf up to the MK5 would run bio no...
Yes the gravity fuges are more expensive, BUT they are a lot better. Trust me. As Algae said, the fast once rely on oil pressure, so if you have any bits blocking the jet you'll have pull it apart...
Hey guys, I have a supply of extremely good oil in Melbourne, unfortunately I won't be visiting Melbourne as frequently anymore, so if anyone is interested, let me know. Oil is from a catering...
