Hello group,
I live in a climate where annual average temperatures are around 85 degrees Fahrenheit. I would like to run veggie oil in a single tank setup, preferably an 90 oil 10 petrol mix, I have heard that inline injection pumps are best for this.
I have the following vehicles avaialble with inline injection pump:
1989 Toyota Landcruiser HJ60 with 2H engine
1985 Toyota Landcruiser BJ70 with 3B engine
1995 Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 with TD42 engine
1983 Mercedes-Benz 300D turbodiesel with OM617 engine
2003 Ssangyong Rexton with OM662 engine
1997 Ssangyong Musso with OM602 engine
I have read that Tony From West Oz runs a 120 series prado with 1kz engine rotary pump with 80 oil 20 shandy mix single tank.
i have available to me 80 series landcruiser with 1hz engine with rotary pump , 3rd gen 4runner 1kz with rotary pump and 70 series prado with 3L engine with rotary pump. Can these toyota IDI with rotary pump handle 80 oil 20 petrol mix on single tank setup?
Thanks in advance
Cheers
J
