The issue is not Lat/Long Vs AMG. Have a look at this site to perhaps explain it better.

"It also explains how to make sure positions obtained using GPS are safely transferred to a paper chart or fed into an electronic equivalent such as an Electronic Charting System (ECS) or an Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS)."

The point is that the lat / lon calculated by a GPS is correct, it is the translation of that point onto a chart or map that creates the error depending on the datum being used.

Using google earth and their lat / lon as well as their maps will give an accuracy as determined by that calculation. If you wish to transfer that "point" to a chart or map the position will vary according to the datum used.

The "point" if the data (lat / lon) used in the biodiesel map may very well be different on different maps, either paper or electronic.

If you are going to use the data presented on the biodiesel map on other mapping programmes or charts then you will need to provide the corrections as appropriate (if it is able to be done) or live with the error it might produce.
